Our products are hyper-compostable, biodegradable and we do not want them to last a lifetime like conventional plastics. With that being said, our products will last up to 2 years if stored in normal dry conditions at temps between 55 - 75 degrees F.

Yes! Our coconut straws are food-safe up to 240 degrees F, so they hold up well to hot beverages and foods without softening or leaching. For reference, hot drinks are typically served between 160-185 degrees F, comfortably within that range.

Depending on conditions, decomposition can take up to one year. In ideal conditions, our products will decompose in about 6-8 months
